Pacitan | benuapostnusantara.com | The SRC Reborn Pacitan motorcycle racing team has accomplished an impressive feat at the 2025 Motoprix National Championship Series 1, held at the Gelora Bung Tomo Circuit in Surabaya on May 17-18, 2025. This achievement is even more notable considering the limited training facilities available in their hometown, Pacitan.
Based in a modest workshop in Tawang Kulon village, Ngadirojo District, the team, led by mechanic Rudi Febrianto, also known as Salekong, who is the team owner, successfully propelled its riders to the podium.
"Araffah from Sulawesi secured first place in the Bebek 116cc Expert category and second in the Bebek 125cc Expert. Hafid Rasya from Probolinggo took first in Bebek 116cc Novice and finished third in Bebek 125cc Novice," Salekong told reporters on Monday (19/5/2025).
In addition, Nicky Haiden from Central Java came in second in the Bebek 116cc Novice category, Aam Haris from Lamongan finished third in Bebek 116cc Jatim, and Rezky Kepo from Magetan placed fourth in the same class.
While grateful for his team's accomplishments, Salekong expressed disappointment over the absence of racers from Pacitan participating at the national level. "It's a pity we don't have any racers from our own city of Pacitan," he remarked in Javanese.
This success demonstrates that limitations are not barriers. "Thank God, even though we're just a small team without complete facilities, we can still compete with larger teams in the National Championship," Salekong emphasized.
The achievements of SRC Reborn Pacitan serve as a reminder to the local government of the necessity for sports facility development to support and cultivate young talent from the region.
